Policies & notices

Your privacy choices.

Use this page to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you.

We do not sell your personal information

Pinnacle Life Group does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We do not pass your details to lead marketplaces, to unaffiliated marketers, or to your mortgage lender. There is consequently nothing to opt out of on that front — but the rights below are available to you regardless, and you are welcome to submit a request to confirm it.

Rights available to you

  • Know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold, and the sources and recipients.
  • Obtain a portable copy of that information.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate.
  • Delete information, subject to the legal retention limits described below.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising.
  • Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
  • Appeal a refusal, where your state provides an appeal right.
  • Be free from discrimination or a degraded service for exercising any of these rights.

Which of these apply depends on your state of residence. We honor them for everyone where we reasonably can, rather than only where a statute compels it.

How to make a request

Send a request by any of these routes, saying which right you want to exercise:

Global Privacy Control

If your browser or a browser extension sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request where applicable law requires, without you needing to do anything further.

Verifying your request

Before we act on a request about specific information, we verify your identity — generally by confirming details you previously provided to us. This protects you: releasing your information to someone impersonating you would be the greater harm. We respond within the period your state requires, and will tell you if we need an extension.

Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask for proof that you gave that agent permission, and may ask you to verify your identity directly.

Limits on deletion

We may need to decline part of a deletion request where we are required to keep records to comply with insurance, telemarketing or anti-fraud obligations, to complete a transaction you asked for, or to establish or defend legal claims. Consent records in particular are retained to evidence compliance. If we decline any part of a request, we will tell you which part and why.

Stopping contact

To stop calls or texts without making a full privacy request, reply STOP to any message, tell the agent directly, or contact us. Withdrawing consent to marketing contact does not affect coverage already in force.
